Product Details
Set for scale modelling and painting military history miniatures of all sizes. For better control and a secure grip, the part of the handle where the artist holds the brush is left unpainted. The pointed end of the handle can be used to correct details in the artwork or as a small spatula.
The set includes:

K2 №2 - Flat brush (kolinsky). Ideal for applying base coats, blending (including the “oil dot” technique), and dry brushing on small surfaces.
-
K1 №0 - Round brush (kolinsky). Essential for painting the finest details, lining, highlighting, and creating miniature artwork.
-
K1 №1.5 - Round brush (kolinsky). Optimal for glazing techniques. Holds enough paint while the sharp tip allows you to refine extremely fine details and create complex textures.
- BrP №2 - Mop brush (beaver hair). Designed for dry brushing on larger areas, allowing you to effectively emphasize surface relief and texture.
Care & Maintenance
Watercolor & Gouache Brush Care
Proper watercolor brush care helps maintain the softness and precision of the bristles. After each use, rinse the brush thoroughly with clean water to remove any paint residue. Wash occasionally with mild soap, baby shampoo, or a dedicated brush cleaner, then gently reshape the brush tip.
Allow the brush to dry horizontally at room temperature on a paper towel or cloth. Avoid drying brushes in direct sunlight or near heaters, as heat can damage the bristles and affect the brush shape. Regular cleaning keeps watercolor and gouache brushes flexible and ready for precise painting.
Acrylic Brush Care
To maintain acrylic paint brushes, clean them immediately after use because acrylic paint dries quickly and can damage the bristles. Rinse the brush with warm water and wash it with soap or a brush cleaner to remove paint residue.
Make sure the paint does not dry inside the bristles. If dried paint remains, a special brush cleaning solution may be required. After washing, reshape the brush head and allow it to dry naturally on a flat surface. Proper acrylic brush maintenance helps preserve brush flexibility and painting precision.
Oil Paint Brush Care
For proper oil paint brush care, clean brushes immediately after painting. First rinse the brush in paint thinner such as turpentine or white spirit to dissolve the oil paint. Then wash the brush thoroughly with warm water and soap to remove any remaining residue.
After cleaning, gently reshape the brush and allow it to dry horizontally. Keeping brushes clean prevents hardened paint and helps maintain the brush’s original shape and performance
